When Jennifer Thoma from our Chamber reached out to discuss a potential collaboration, I was on the fence about joining. But after our meeting, it became clear that the Chamber had an incredible network and resources that could benefit 1330 Creative and align with our mission to support local businesses. We ultimately joined as World Ambassadors, attracted by the outreach opportunities and access that this level of membership provided.

Committee Service Leads to Contacts

With a background in business development and a heart for helping small businesses grow, Jennifer at the Chamber suggested that I join the Membership Committee, and it couldn’t have been a better fit. Through this committee, I get to work directly with other local businesses, gaining insights and creating connections that have become invaluable to my professional life. The committee work and volunteer opportunities have not only grown my business network but also deepened my sense of connection to our community.

Joining the Chamber and participating in the Membership Committee has had a clear impact on my bottom line. The referrals I’ve received have primarily come from my Chamber connections, highlighting how powerful relationship-building can be for a business. And it’s not just about the referrals. Working with other local businesses in Cody, such as The Legacy Clinic, Cody Feed, and Zapata’s, has given me valuable experience and insights. These partnerships wouldn’t have been possible without the Chamber’s platform.

Learning Opportunities

On a personal level, the Chamber has been instrumental in my own growth. Through my involvement, I’ve gained a broader understanding of the challenges and rewards of operating a business in Cody. Hearing firsthand from other entrepreneurs and learning about their journeys has been inspiring and instructive. Each conversation and collaboration have helped me grow, both professionally and personally.

One of the things I look forward to most is the sense of camaraderie we share at every Chamber meeting. We work hard, but there’s always laughter and fun, making each gathering something to look forward to. The classes that Jennifer has put together have also been a highlight for me, offering fantastic insights into both business growth and personal development. These moments of learning and connection keep the experience fulfilling and fresh.

Join the Chamber Community

For any business owner considering joining, I would wholeheartedly encourage them to take the plunge. Being part of the Chamber isn’t just about accessing resources; it’s about joining a community that actively invests in your growth. The Chamber is filled with passionate people dedicated to helping each other succeed. It has been a rewarding journey, and I look forward to contributing to this community for years to come.
